So we’re not quite at the end of the summer yet and hopefully there are some sunny days left to come, but followers of fashion, it’s time to prepare for autumn – we’re called The Upcoming for a reason you know!

Neon will be a distant memory by SS2014, so these sandals have a limited shelf life. Work them for the next few months and then send them to a better place, maybe Oxfam.

Flatforms – style up for autumn

What’s that, open toes in autumn? No, we haven’t totally lost it, you really can make your summer sandals work for you as skies darken and temperatures drop this year. Well, as long as you’re fairly brave when it comes to puddles.

Those flatforms (a comfy flat shoe on a high-ish platform) you invested in back in the spring – and which look great with your denim cut offs – work equally well for a relaxed evening look in Autumn/Winter, like a heel but without any discomfort.
